Performed administrative data entry, worked special projects using Microsoft Office, managed phone calls, and completed filings while on an assignment for Coast Mountain Bus Company.
2013 Student Development Intern - Saigon Institute of Technology - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Instructed at a Vietnamese Community College. Prepared, taught and graded students’ coursework in international business and english courses. Assisted the school’s administration and co-organized activities for the school’s English Club.
2013 Research Assistant - Institute for European Studies - University of British Columbia - Vancouver, BC, Canada
Researched, compiled and co-wrote an extended paper to mark the 50th anniversary of the Élysée Treaty of Friendship between France and Germany. The paper consisted of a cross-examination of the current economic situations of the two countries with a focus on exports, youth unemployment strategies and competitiveness. Collected and analyzed data from a variety of levels including national databases, Eurostat and the OECD in order to perform analysis. Worked under the direct guidance of Dr. Kurt Hübner, Director of the Institute.
2012 Stagiaire - Mission of Canada to the EU - Brussels, Belgium
Researched and drafted reports on foreign policy topics of importance to the EU-Canada relationship. These reports were then distributed to other Foreign Affairs colleagues and relevant external departments. Attended and reported on meetings and briefings hosted by EU institutions, other Missions and think-tanks.

Performed sales of pool equipment, provided technical advice to customers and successfully managed customer interactions.
2008-2009 Student Assistant – Constituency Office of Mike Wallace – Member of Parliament (MP) - Burlington, Ontario, Canada
Analyzed and summarized constituent questions and comments received via email on federal government policy. These summaries were then recorded into an electronic database that was used to determine the public’s primary concerns about national government policy.

2012-2013 University of British Columbia Model United Nations Team
Represented UBC at Model United Nations conferences in Vancouver, Seattle and at Harvard University. Performed preparatory research on national positions, engaged in debates and negotiations, and wrote draft resolutions designed to help solve real world problems. Received a Diplomacy award at a 2013 conference in Vancouver.
2011-2012 Assistant Chair – Economic and Financial Committee - World Model United Nations Conference (WORLDMUN) XXI
Prepared background documents, managed committee sessions, moderated debates, edited draft resolutions and performed other oversight roles in conjunction with the Chair. The topic under debate was international trade and regional economic integration.
